Today’s session started with a quick recap of all the tools of the illustrator. Then we studied the blend tool , learnt how to create 3D shapes and the shape builder tool which helps to manipulate shapes into a form. Then we were given a brief description about the Gestalt principles. These principles helps us to show how complex stuff can be reduced to simple shapes/forms. It helped us in knowing more about the illustrator and getting a hang of using it. There are 6 gestalt principles , they are as follows :- 1] Similarity, 2] Continuation, 3] Closure, 4] Proximity, 5] Figure/Ground, 6] Symmetry.
