Today’s session was a quick recap of whatever we learnt so far. All the different tools of illustrator and different methods and shortcuts to use them . The illustrator has many tools and sir gave us a brief on which tool is used for what and how. A list of tools and their uses are as follows :-

1] Selection tool :- The selection tool helps in selecting or moving objects around. 2] Direct selection tool :- The direct selection tool allows you to isolate any object or path , even if it is already a part of a group. 3] Pen tool :- The pen tool allows you to define your own anchor points as well as adjust the curves associated with the anchor point. 4] Curvature tool :- The curvature tool simplifies path creation and makes drawing easy and intuitive. 5] Shape Tool :- Helps you draw a create various shapes like rectangle,ellipse, polygon, star etc. 6] Paintbrush tool :- This tool helps you stylize the appearance of the paths. You can apply brush strokes to existing paths or you can use it to draw a path 7] Type tool :- The type tool allows you to type a text in an given area 8] Rotate tool :- The rotate tool helps you to rotate objects in the drawing 9] Eraser tool :- The eraser tool let’s you erase the parts of a path by drawing along the path 10] Scissors tool :- The scissors tool splits a path, graphics frame, or empty text frame at an anchor point or along th segment. 11] Knife tool :- The knife tool helps in dividing the object in different parts. 12] Shape builder tool :- The shaper tool helps you create complex and beautiful designs 13] Gradient tool :- Gradient fills are used to create transitions between colours. 14] Blend tool :- The blend tool helps you create impressive colour blends.
