As a continuation of the previous session , in today’s class i showed my 3 iterations to ma’am and she told me to go ahead with the first one which was a city in a perfume bottle. We then started with our prototype model for the tunnel box . For the prototype we were supposed to make a box of 5 by 5 inch with ivory sheet. I started with making a rough layout of the box on the sheet with proper dimensions . Then i stuck all the sides and my box was ready , but when i showed it to ma’am she said that my box wasn’t that sturdy so she advised me to make one more using a different layout. After making the box we were supposed to make 6 layers of our iterations and place it in the box so that we could get a better idea of how our main model would like.
First i divided my iterations into 6 layers. My bottom most layer was the shelf , after that i places a layer of various perfume bottles , my third layer was the main perfume bottle , my next layer was the lid of the perfume bottle , the came t a layer of the leaves [ buildings ] and my final layer was the flowers [ humans ]. After deciding my layers i started working on them , i used ivory sheet to make the layers too.
After the prototype ma’am told us to start making our main tunnel box which was 10 by 10 inch . This time I made my box in a different way . I took 6 different ivory sheets of the measurement 10 by 10 inch and then joined all of them together. This gave my box a better look and made it more sturdy.
