Today was the first integrative studio class for semester 2 . Today’s class was taken by Aakash Sir .We started off with introducing ourselves , what all did we learn in the first semester , what all do we expect or want to learn in the second semester , which specialization do we want to pursue our carriers in.
The first semester according to me was interesting and we got to learn a lot of new stuff, ideas and techniques . I wanted the second semester to be more inclined towards our specializations so that we could get a clear idea. We also realized that the first semester was more of practical work whereas the second semester was going to be full of theory , research work and critical thinking.
Sir explained us about critical reflection .Reflection is something that we learn and gain. He told us before doing anything we should ask 2 questions to ourselves , why should you do it ? and why do we actually need to learn this ? The more questions we ask , we get a better understanding of what we are doing.
In the second half we discussed briefly about our upcoming project. We also did a small activity , we were divided in groups of 5. We had to select one word out of the several words sir gave . We picked the word obnoxious. We were supposed to find synonyms of the word and enact them. This was a fun activity .
