In today’s session we learnt about masking. There are two types of masking :- 1] Clipping mask , 2] Opacity mask. Clipping mask is a group of layers to which a mask is applied , the base layer defines the visible boundaries of the entire group. Opacity mask provides the shape through which other objects show along with a variation in gradient of color. We also learnt something interesting known as image tracing , which is very helpful and would make our work less complicated. On the basis of this one can easily make a new drawing on an existing piece of artwork by tracing it.
