After learning linear drawings we were introduced to foliage. Foliage is a representation of leaves, flowers and stems . We were instructed to collect various types of leaves and flowers and make sketches with numerous textures ideas .This assignment was fun because Pencil shading is one of my strengths. Pencil shading helps you show the depth of the subject of the drawing . I feel pencil shading also helps in enhancing the drawing.
