As a continuation of last class, in today’s class we had to select one of those places discussed. Sir gave us different aspects like attire, profession, landmark, signage/billboard/graffiti, architecture, foliage, food and mode of transport which we were supposed to keep in mind while documenting the place we select.
We were supposed to come up with 4 places and then select one of them. The places which we decided were Colaba causeway, Banganga, CST and Asiatic library. The final place we chose was Asiatic Library. Asiatic library is situated in the fort area near horniman circle.
After finalising our place we visited the asiatic library. We went and spoke to the people incharge in the library and asked them about the history of the place and gathered information. We also had a look at places around the library, saw their architecture.
