Today’s class we watched the movie AMELIE. It is a french movie based on the life of a girl named Amelie. The movie is about all the simple things which occur in one’s life . Despite being caught in her imaginative world , Amelie [a young waitress] decides to help people find happiness , her quest to spread joy and happiness leads her to a journey where she finds her love.
While watching the movie we were instructed to note down words and phrases which according to us described the movie . I came up with 5 words :- 1] Creative, 2] Organised, 3] Romance, 4] Shy / Innocent , 5] Comedy . We were then divided into groups of 3 and we had to help each other select one word out of those 5 words. After a detailed discussion i chose organised as my final word.
We were given an assignment for the next class. We were supposed to click 14 pictures. 12 pictures related to Gestalt Principle ( 2 pictures each for one principle ) ( 6 gestalt principles are similarity , proximity , continuity , symmetry , figure ground , closure ) and 2 pictures related to the word which we selected on the basis of the movie.
