We started off today’s class with discussing our mind map B with ma’am . My topic was Scandinavian
I didn’t know much about the theme Scandinavian until i researched about it for this assignment. The Scandinavian interior design is characterized by minimalism, simplicity, and functionality. Belonging to the school of modernism, Scandinavian design is a design movement characterized by a focus on functionalism and simplicity. It also includes the use of natural materials, such as leather, wood, and hemp. After this discussion we were supposed to finalize one category from mind map B for our final project. I was confused between light , design type and nature. I had a discussion with ma’am about this and she gave me a clear idea of all three of them and suggested me to go ahead with natural shapes. I started working on natural shapes and did a little bit of research about it and what importance does it stand in the Scandinavian theme.
