In today’s class we discussed about the movies that we saw over the weekend . The movies that we saw together were Griha pravesh and Chitchor. Since we didn’t get an opportunity to watch the other movies together so we saw Manthan and Mrigaya over zoom call and Sholay everyone saw personally. While watching the movie we noted down points as instructed. After watching the movie we made 5 mind maps by combining everyone’s points. The mind maps consisted of various categories related to the movie along with elements .
While watching the movies i also noticed that all the 5 movies had predictable endings and revolved around a basic story line.
The mind map which I made was of the movie Grih Pravesh. This movie was made in the year 1979. This movie revolves around Mansi and Amar who have an arranged marriage. Later Amar falls in love with one of his colleague named Sapna. Amar asks Mansi to give him a divorce but Mansi agrees to do so only one one condition of Amar would let Mansi and Sapna meet once , Amar agrees to the condition they call Sapna over for lunch , Mansi and Sapna have a great conversation. Towards the end Amar reaslises and patches up with Mansi again and apologises.
