Today’s class we dug deep into photoshop and learnt about masking. Masking is a technique used to clarify detailes map content. There are two types of masking :- 1] clipping mask , 2] layer mask.
Clipping mask :- A clipping mask is the group of layers to which a mask is applied. The bottommost layers defines the visible boudaries of the entire group. It also helps you to combine two layers into one. Layer mask :- Layer masking allows you to use or hide as much of any one layer you like. It is something which could be added on a layer and allows us to control the transparency of that particular layer. We were then told to male posters using clipping and layer mask and were told to explore more tools like the paint bucket tool, background layers etc.
Sir also told us to make a skyline silhouette posters using a potrait image.
