Today’s class started with us learning about adobe photoshop. After exploring and playiny with the illustrator now it was time for us to learn somethimg new which is Adobe photoshop. Adobe photoshop is a raster graphic editor. Photoshop is based on pixels , it is designed for editing and creating photos or raster bsed art. Illustrator is the process to make someting whereas Photoshop is the process to edit something. After a brief discussion about what photoshop is sir intoduced us to the tools like the move tool, pen tool, marque tools (rectangular, elliptical, single row, single coloumn) , lasso tool (polygonal lasso, magnetic lasso), quick selection tool, magic wand tool, shape tool , pen tool, brush tool, eraser tool, background eraser tool, dodge tool, burn tool, sponge tool, clone stamp tool…
After gaining information about the tools and their uses we were told to play with the tools and recreate movie posters and make a collage. One of the most interesting thing we learnt today was the process of making a GIF.
