Today’s class we learnt about tints , tones and shades. We were assigned to make a gradation grid with warm and cool colours by adding white and black.
Warm colours are blue, green and violet. Cool colours are yellow, orange and red.
Gradation is a visual technique of gradually transitioning from one colour hue/shade to another. It helps you to know all the different shades in the grid and how every shade is made.
