As a continuation of the previous session , in today’s class we started coming up with various ideas for our creative response After a lot of thought process we came up with a list of ideas
1)Our very first idea was the visual game , we didn’t want to go ahead with this idea because visual games already exist in a lot of way , so we decided to cut this idea. 2)Our second idea was writing a blog about the era , but after having a discussion we realised that a blog would be very boring and no one one would want to sit and read such a big write up, we rejected this idea. 3)our third idea was a podcast but none of us was keen to work on this so we dropped this idea too . 4) the fourth one was a mini model and obviously since all of us were in different cities we couldn’t make this so we rejected this idea. 5) the fifth one we thought of making a digital photo booth or snapchat filters but again this idea is something which is too common we already had another group who took the same idea so we dropped this idea also 6) the sixth one was posters , we rejected this idea because it was too basic and wouldn’t be much interactive either. 7) the seventh one was a film reel , I liked this idea because all of us visualised the entire idea in our mind but after having a discussion with sir he told us not to go ahead with this because this is something that already exists and we had to make something unique.
We had a discussion on each and every idea , we saw all the possibilities , the pros and cons of each idea and how interactive and innovative would it look if we went ahead with it. After a lot of brainstorming we came down to two ideas one of them was the rubics cube and the other one was show design
We started working on the show design idea . We thought of taking 3 pairs of shoes that is 6 shoes in all and we would show one category on one shoe . Even though we were happy with the show design idea all of us wanted to go ahead and work on the Rubik’s cube idea and sir also personally liked this idea the most. Just like the shoe design concept for Rubik’s cube also we decided to take one side as one category , and each tiny cube would have an icon on it which would join together to form one picture related to the category.
